Payments, Shipping and Returns
- We exclusively use Payfast as our secure payment gateway to process all our payments. They offer options to use your credit card, debit card and to do an EFT.
Payfast is SA's most trusted payment gateway and conduct all their transactions according to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) security standards (which are very high!). They are a PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider – the highest security level possible. Baby Makia never ever see's your card number, CVV number, Account numbers etc.
- Please do not deposit funds via a bank branch or bank teller as there is a R60 transaction fee. If you choose to deposit funds through a direct deposit at the bank or teller, please add R60 to your invoice total or your payment will reach us as a short paid amounts.
- We exclusively use The Courier Guy and courier your parcels at a flat rate of R85 nationwide.
- We offer free shipping for orders over R700
- If you require shipping to an outlying area, please contact us to arrange special courier details at an additional fee.
- If you reside close to Centurion and would like to collect, please contact us to manually override your courier fee on the system.
- Each product has a different turnaround time, please refer to the details of the product you are interested in to see the turnaround time of your product.
- By default we will send your package as soon as all parts of your order are ready. If you require us to send your order in sections as each part is ready, please contact us to arrange that.
- Courier takes 3-5 days to process and deliver your package.
- As soon as your order has been sent with the courier, you will receive a parcel / tracking number via email.

If your item is not to your satisfaction, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be in touch to make your arrangements.Please note that all products to be returned in the condition they were delivered in and in their original packaging.
- Please note that we take the utmost care to provide you with all the information you need to make an educated decision in sizes and colours. Should you order an item in the incorrect size, exchanges need to be arranged in advance so we can make the new item for you. The item then needs to be exchanged in Centurion at our premises or a courier can be arranged to collect the item and deliver the new item, at your cost.
- Please note that refunds are not issued unless there has been a fault on our end
- When requesting a return or refund, pictures need to be sent to us clearly showing the defect in question. We will then discuss it with you and come to a conclusion to resolve it for you asap. Should the exchange or refund be due to a fault on our end, prior arrangements have to be made to replace your product or issue a refund. For this we will need detailed pictures of the issue / error to be emailed to email@example.com and we will do our utmost best to resolve the issue to your satisfaction. Costs incurred to courier the items will be for our account. If products have been tampered with or washcare hasn't been followed, damaging the product, we accept no liability for it and a refund or return will not be processed.
